The risk management grant program is designed to assist members as they strive to improve employee safety and prevent general liability losses through the purchase of training, equipment, or services. We believe each member can lower their net costs through the proactive management of risk in the community and workplace. Reducing claims costs means more money is available to use in other important areas.
PARSAC staff are available to assist you in maximizing the impact of your grant award with thorough loss analysis, consultation services, and partnerships with industry experts. This voluntary program is tailored to meet your entity's objectives. To assist members in identifying eligible services and providers, staff has developed a Vendor Resource List.
Grants are awarded based on their potential impact on the member's risk management objectives. Attendance at risk management conferences (PARMA, CAJPA) can be reimbursed with grant funds, limited to $1,500 per fiscal year. All projects approved under the Grant Program must be completed and submitted for reimbursement by May 1st each year (refer to the policy for program details).
