Bond Program

The Bond Program is a group purchased program where rate reductions and coverage enhancements are realized because participants are able to leverage their significant purchasing power. This Program provides up to $1 million per occurrence for a cost of $1,500 annually with a $2,500 deductible. Coverage is provided for the following incidents: 

Public Employee Dishonesty,including Faithful Performance of Duty including loss of money, securities and other tangible property with intrinsic value resulting from employee dishonesty. Includes loss resulting from the failure of any employee to faithfully perform duties as prescribed by law.

Forgery or Alteration, including loss by forgery or alteration of any checks, drafts, promissory notes or similar written promises, orders or directions to pay money that are made or drawn upon your accounts by persons other than your employees.

Theft, Disappearance and Destruction,including losses by theft, disappearance and destruction of money and securities inside the premises or banking premises, or outside the premises in the care and custody of a messenger caused by persons other than your employees. 

Computer Fraud protects your money, securities and other property for theft which follows and is directly related to the use of any computer to fraudulently cause a transfer of that property from inside your premises or banking premises to a person or place outside those premises caused by persons other than employees.

Ancillary Programs

The Employee Benefits Program provides participating members with competitive pricing for Dental, Vision, Life and AD&D, and Long-Term Disability coverages.

Volunteer Coverage is included to cover risks associated with small and large volunteer events such as community clean up projects should the agency desire not to place their volunteer risks under workers' compensation.

Vendors/Contractor's Liability Program, administered by Alliant, provides up to $1 million in general liability coverage for contractors and vendors wishing to work on a public project, but who may not have insurance sufficient to meet the member's minimum requirements. The cost of this program is paid by the contractor. Please refer to the Program Manual for more information.
